Kerbside Recycling (Robe Township)

Where do our kerbside recyclables go?
Rubbish Collection
Rubbish & Recycling Collection Days:
Domestic waste is collected weekly on the following days in the specified areas, unless otherwise advertised through the media.
Monday - Boatswains Point township
Tuesday - Robe township (to Drain L bridge)
Wednesday - Long Beach Area (east of Drain L bridge) and Wildfield Estate
Fortnightly pick up (alternate Wednesdays) - Highway to Boatswains Point/ Greenways and Nora Creina Road
Recyced products are collected fortnightly on the following days in the specified areas, unless otherwise advertised through the media.
Thursday - Robe township (to Drain L bridge)
Friday - Long Beach Area (east of Drain L bridge) and Wildfield Estate

Green Waste Dump
Recycling your green waste:
Green Waste products that are segregated and do not require mulching eg. Lawn clippings, leaves etc, can be dumped free of charge within the Landfill area during the opening times.
Normal Landfill Fees will apply to any Green Waste products that require mulching.

TOTAL FIRE BAN DAYS declared in the Lower South East of SA will result in the Landfill being closed.
The Landfill will be closed on Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day.
These are the only times the Landfill Depot will be open to the public. Members of the community and district are urged to co-ordinate dumping of waste with the above allocated days and times.

E-Waste Fees: $1.00 per kilogram.
Conditions
Opening of the Landfill Depot outside the above listed hours will incur a penalty of $220.00 plus the disposal fee(s). Landfill Depot opening /operations will only be carried out by a Council employee.
NO KEYS will be issued or distributed to any person(s).
