Native Vegetation and Development
The department of Water, Land and Biodiversity Conservation (DWLBC) has recently developed a Fact Sheet to encourage development applicants to consider native vegetation and biodiversity during the preparation of their development application. the Fact Sheet also prompts applicants to contact the native Vegetation Council early in the development application process to discuss options for minimising and offsetting vegetation clearance if necessary.
